Ingredients:

  • 15-20 strands of Bell Saffron (Keshar)

  • 25-30 Almonds (Badam)

  • 500 ml Milk

  • 1/4 cup Sugar


Recipe:

  1. Take about 3 tbsp of milk in a small cup and soak about 20 strands of Bell Saffron in it for about 15-20 minutes.

  2. Soak the almonds in hot water for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove the skin of almonds, add them into a blender with 1/2 cup of milk and grind them into a smooth paste.

  4. Heat the milk in a pan and when it comes to a boil, add the soaked saffron and the almond paste and simmer it for 10 minutes.

  5. Add sugar and cook for another minute.

  6. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and few saffron strands.

  7. Feel and experience the beverage Keshar Badam Milk, which can be served hot, or refrigerate it to be served cold.


Note:

Soak the Kashmiri Bell Saffron strands for a minimum of 15-20 minutes in warm water or milk to get the best infusion of aroma, flavour and colour with your recipe.
